Pros and Cons
Nana, the main reason I want to create Instagram is because I really want to grow and understand the world out there. These days, most of the news, useful events, and important updates are posted first on Instagram. It is not just for friends; there is a lot we can do and a lot we can learn from people because many share valuable and informative content too.
Very soon I am going to become more social, and I will also be enrolling into some NGOs (as suggested by Spurti akka), so I think Instagram will be useful for me then. It will help me build my profile as well.
We just need to make sure that I follow the right channels and the right people.
So I am just listing out the pros and cons of Instagram:
*Pros*:
1)I will be able to build a good network (and I am aware of my limits).
2)It will help me create a strong profile because nowadays everyone is on Instagram, and some interviews (like IIMs) even look at how active you are online.
*Cons*:
1)People spend a lot of time on Instagram reels which are similar to YouTube shorts, but I believe I will be able to control my screen time.
2)Random people may send requests, but I can just choose not to accept them. Also, I will keep my account private so nobody can view my profile or text me unless I approve the request.
I am not saying that I will create Instagram immediately. I will create it only when I feel it is the right time. I just want you to know that creating an Instagram account will not affect my focus, and I am doing it with a purpose, not just for entertainment. I am very well aware that the decisions I make at this stage will have an impact on my future, so I will be very mindful and responsible before taking this step.
I request you to correct me if I am wrong or add any more cons that I may not be aware of. Please go through this and let me know your decision.

I know you would not be comfortable with this opinion of mine but this is something which I think I really want to do
with programs lined up I would want to show my friends and everyone what I am currently doing in my dance
